Copper Moon is a 100% private (no shared spaces) desert oasis on 5 secluded acres in Joshua Tree. Spend a lazy day in the courtyard by the saltwater pool surrounded by desert flora. Cook inspired dinners and unwind with sunset cocktails on the star deck. You’ll have full access to the gym & game room. This home is designed to inspire a sense of stillness and calm. The artistry in the sunrises & sunsets is unmatched. Joshua Tree & shops are a short drive, but you'll look forward to coming home!
The Space:
Copper Moon is located on one of Joshua Tree's famed dirt roads, easily accessible with any vehicle. The property sits on 5 acres (2.5 acres is fully-fenced).
The floor plan is open and bright. The home has a fully-stocked kitchen with cooking oil, a full spice rack, chef's knives, a coffee station that includes tea and hot chocolate and, of course, a wine opener for all that unwinding.
Step out with your morning cup of brew on to the private front porch or courtyard in the back to watch the sunrise, surrounded by mature saguaro cacti, olive and pomegranate trees and flowering desert flora. Spend lazy afternoons by the saltwater pool with friends and family or borrow a book from my personal book collection and sink into the oversized couch in the living room.
Behind the private courtyard--still in the fenced in area--enjoy a game of horseshoe, sit by the fire pit and stargaze or enjoy an inspired dinner in the custom-made picnic table built into the truck bed of an old Chevy truck bed.
The gym and game room includes a Peloton situated in front of a picture window facing east for you early morning riders. The gym includes a squat rack and bench with a full set of rubber plates, yoga mats/blocks and a curl bar. The area also includes a ping pong table, giant Jenga and a host of games for endless fun.
In the evening, grab your choice of beverage and head up to the star deck to experience the electric sunset sky or practice your astro photography.
Guest Access:
The entire property is yours to enjoy! Please note that there is a closet next to the game room that is locked to guests.

Copper Moon is situated in North Joshua Tree, just 19 minutes from the shops and restaurants of downtown Joshua Tree. All homes in this area are on acreage, giving guests wide open space and privacy.

Getting Around:
A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.
Please note that Copper Moon is in a remote location, and the last 3 miles to the home are dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary (any car get reach the home), but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have large bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.

Pool Temperature:
Please note that the pool has solar heating and the temperature of the pool HIGHLY dependent on how intense the sun is and we aren't able to guarantee a pool temperature at any point of the year. Generally, in April/May and September/October, the temperature hovers between 65 and 75 and then 80-85 in the summer months: June - August. The remainder of the year, the pool temperature fluctuates between 40-60 degrees.
Pool and Hot Tub Service:
The pool and hot tub are serviced Wednesday, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.
Indoor Fireplace:
Please note that the indoor fireplace is non-operational at this time. We do have a wood burning outdoor chimney, and a gas fire pit for you to enjoy, however! Please note that we do not provide firewood for the wood burning outdoor chimney, but we do provide propane for the fire pit.
Firewood for Outdoor Fireplace:
If you'd like to use the outdoor fireplace, please note we do not provide firewood. If you'd like to enjoy the outdoor fireplace, we recommend picking up bundles of firewood at a local grocery store or gas station in town.
Guided Yoga, Sound Baths, Meditation, Massages & Personal Chefs:
Please reach out to us if you'd like recommendations for yoga instructors, guided sound baths, guided meditation, massages or personal chefs. Often times vendors are available come directly to the house.
